Editorial purpose

CareIntima publishes educational content about sexual health, intimate wellness, relationships and related wellbeing topics for adult readers. The goal is to explain sensitive subjects clearly without shame, unnecessary sensationalism or unsupported certainty.

Research and sources

For health-related claims, we prioritize authoritative medical and public-health sources such as government health agencies, major clinical organizations, academic literature and established medical institutions. Secondary sources may help identify topics, but important claims should be checked against stronger primary or authoritative material where practical.

Sources are used to support the claim being made; a long reference list is not a substitute for accurate sourcing.

Authorship and medical review

CareIntima is founder-led. The founder and editor is not a doctor. An article is not described as medically reviewed, doctor reviewed, clinically proven or otherwise clinician-endorsed unless a qualified professional actually performed that review and the page identifies the reviewer and review context.

Where a page needs professional assessment, readers are encouraged to consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional.

Commercial content

Some guides contain affiliate links or discuss consumer products. Manufacturer claims, retailer information, published evidence and CareIntima editorial interpretation should be kept separate. Commercial relationships are disclosed on relevant pages.

AI-assisted production

AI tools may be used for drafting, outlining, research organization or formatting. They are not treated as authoritative sources. Factual health claims must be checked against appropriate sources before publication, and AI output is not presented as medical advice.

Updates and corrections

Pages may be updated when evidence, product details, links or other material information changes. When a meaningful factual error is identified, we aim to correct it rather than quietly preserving a known inaccuracy.
